Wow, what a read...I agree, who would have thought that all those "wasted" hours playing Monopoly was in fact an intense training session for later life. Love the book, couldn't put it down. I can't wait for the next one and to put some of this into action. (Don't suppose you could recommend a good advisor?) Big ups to you, from where I stand "on the outside", it makes "no sense" not to enter into "conversations" about getting off the "merry go round" so that we don't get to the end "home and broken hearted". Finally, someone managed some Cold Chisel - gen x inspirations. Congratulations mate.

Thanks for a great read Bruce! Finally someone has bit of decent advice for those us with time on our side. With all the doom and gloom getting around at the moment it's refreshing to hear a bit of contructive advice on borrowing for investment.....And it's good for a laugh.

“I have been the one who was excited after reading your book and really driven to do something. As often happens in couples, my husband was less than enthused with my ramblings about “this really cool book”. Anyway, I glued your book into his hand this morning and INSISTED that he start reading the bloody thing. You might be pleased to know that he called at 8.30am this morning – he had read the first 40 pages on the train and was quoting your book back to me ad nauseum – I was told in no uncertain terms that we need to put our goals on a bit of paper and stick them on the fridge ‘as suggested in the book’! Apparently you are really good at your job!”
