The 'Gen X Rules' rules

In Debt Man Walking, I wrote the start of a list that would hopefully serve to forewarn older and younger generations of the sorts of things that will impact on the decisions we make when we're in charge. They weren't all serious ('paisley and tartan should never be worn together'), although there are some serious messages ('When Gen X is in charge of declaring global wars on evil (Reagan’s ‘war on drugs’ or George W’s ‘war on terror’), let’s try to make it something that can be defeated). If you'd like to post a rule or two that you think might help others understand where we're coming from, please post them below. As soon as I've had a read, I'll post it on the site for everyone to see.
