About Debt Man/Bruce Brammall

'Gen Xers have a sensational, prosperous future ahead of them - if they start now!'

Bruce Brammall is an author, financial adviser, business journalist and media commentator. And, by luck rather than design, he's also hopelessly Generation X.

Debt Man is a financial persona. He doesn't have an actual cape. He bears no resemblance to Sean Penn in that movie that bears a similar title to his book.

Together, Bruce and Debt Man hope to get Generation Xers (we that were known as 'Slackers') to understand the powerful position we have reached in our lives. Our age (28-48), combined with our earning power, a bit of knowledge and investment debt can be thrown into the mixing bowl to create a financial future that other generations can only dream of.

As Bruce shows in Debt Man Walking (the book), it doesn't take much to get started. But you have to start. And therein lies the major problem with most people's financial plans. They don't start until it's too late.
